Invitation for all PURE Hubs partners for start student project in St. Helens | 8 Feb. - Thursday, January 17, 2013
categorieën: PH St.Helens

On Friday 8th Feburary 2013 the University of Liverpool will be commencing a student project in support of work being undertaken by St.Helens Council on Bold Forest Park. The student project will be to research and identify indicators and targets for monitoring the Bold Forest Park and for the Sustainability Appraisal of the plan for that area.

The project will be commencing at 10am on Friday 8th February 2013 with an inception meeting with the students where we will prepare them for the work ahead with a contextual presentation which will include:

  • Background to PureHubs
  • Background to Bold Forest Park
  • Sustainability Appraisal Process and Procedure
  • Project Requirements and Milestones

This will be an excellent opportunity for other PureHubs to come and observe the joint work between the University of Liverpool and St.Helens and also to interact and find out more about the project.

If there are enough interested people coming to the day St.Helens Council will offer a follow on workshop/discussion in the afternoon to open a wider discussion about how we can use the model of what is happening in St.Helens with the University with a view to providing a sustainability model for other partners. Equally it may be an opportunity to think about how such work could shape future versions of PureHubs.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer travel and accomodation given that it is a one day workshop but we are able to provide advice and to provide travel once people are in either Liverpool or St.Helens.

If you are interested in attending this day then please contact Jane Houghton know on indicating your intended travel and accommodation arrangements.
